It's wise to be picky when interviewing real estate agents, because who you pick will be responsible for guiding you through one of the most significant transactions of your life! Simply put, make sure that you're working with a full-time agent. Full-time agents are much more professional and accessible at all times and are more likely to know what they're doing with getting your home sold.

Every listing agent should have a marketing plan of action to tell you exactly what they're going to do to get your home sold. Ask them to explain the step-by-step strategies to get your home listed, shown, and sold. A marketing plan of action is critically important, and your agent should discuss it at length.

Ask your agent how much money they think you can make if you list your home with them. Every agent you interview should prepare a comparative market analysis and a detailed marketing plan. This question will give you an idea of their plan to sell your home at the best price.
